Ah, I have finally reached another one on my checklist!

The last day of summer (before classes), my best friend and I decided to try The Waffle. They have such unique ways of mixing some ingredients with waffle. My best friend, Gerianne, ordered a bacon waffle and there were bacon inside the waffle! I ordered a salmon waffle. We also had waffle fries and did a half/half with ketchup on one side and syrup on the other. Next time, we want to try the Waffle spinich dip. For drinks, we ordered Ginger Ale and a Strawberry Milkshake. Boyyy do I need to go to the gym tonight.

Location: Sunset blvd and Vine St, Hollywood.

First thought: This is so cute!

I’m so happy I found out about this restaurant through an episode of The Hills. (yes. The Hills that featured Lauren Conrad.) My parents and I went to this restaurant during Easter and they were serving English brunch. My mom studied in England majority of her life and she missed the food. Yorkshire pudding! I definitely recommend going here.

First thought: Is this a Korean restaurant or Japanese restaurant?

After attending an AIA board meeting with my fellow AIAS board members, we went to dinner at Koreantown which is on our way back to school. Both Alberto and Ashley said the food was good so we went. I like pork cutlet. *smash smash*; the sauce.

Japanese food in Hong Kong, why?

First thought: “MORE JAPANESE FOOD?!?”

You can say that whenever I’m in Hong Kong, I tend to eat lots of Japanese food. My friends usually take me to Japanese restaurants because…it’s good. Annie and I went to the Japanese restaurant below Times Square. The drinks were good. So was the food. The desert was definitely the best.

Location: Below Times Square, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

Toi: rice pizza.

First thought: “what is rice pizza?”

I know it sounds weird, but it’s basically pizza made out of rice. No bread. My friend Gerianne and I went to Toi because she has always been interested in trying the food but never went. Therefore, we went. The food was good. The dessert was good. The drink tasted like Gatorade, but the image was interesting. I recommend eating there once.

Location: Across from World Trade Center in Causeway Way, Hong Kong.
